A funeral Mass for Daughter of Charity Sister Cora Anne Signaigo was offered April 4 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg. Sister Cora Anne died March 29. She was 83.

Sister Stella Mary served for six years in the Archdiocese of Baltimore at St. Clement Mary Hofbauer School in Rosedale.

Two members of a group called Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising said April 5 that five fetuses taken by the police a week earlier from the Capitol Hill residence of one of the activists were “proof of illegal abortions” being performed at a Washington abortion clinic.
