Bon Secours Sister Mary Jean Aulenback, who served as a nurse in Baltimore and managed her order’s bookstore at its Marriottsville headquarters, died Nov. 17 of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Brother Rodney served as a religion teacher at Mount St. Joseph High School in Irvington from 1967 to 1970. He was acting principal at Mount St. Joseph for the 1988-89 academic year. He held a bachelor’s degree from the University Of Detroit and master’s degrees from St. John’s University and Bowie State University.

Exactly one week after Baltimore bid a somber farewell to Baltimore City EMT-Firefighter Rodney Pitts III, thousands returned to the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen Nov. 3 to pay tribute to Baltimore City Fire Department Captain Dillon J. Rinaldo.

A funeral Mass for Redemptorist Brother Raphael Rock was offered Oct. 23 at Sacred Heart of Jesus-Sagrado Corazón de Jesus in Highlandtown. Brother Raphael died Oct. 13 at the St. John Neumann Residence, Timonium. He was 91.
