Archdiocese of Baltimore offers resources for parishes to assist migrants

The Archdiocese of Baltimore has created a web page to guide its parishes in the event that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents or other law enforcement officials arrive on their campuses.

The page is available at archbalt.org/immigration-resources

The site contains:

• A Collected Book of Prayers for Migrants from the US. Conference of Catholic Bishops
• Prayer booklet – including information on specific saints
• Immigration toolkit from the Maryland Catholic Conference 
• Catholic Charities services and information on legal rights from Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC)
• Registration info for training certification program on Catholic social teaching 
• Summary/resources of the Church’s position on immigration (national and local) 

The archdiocese shared with parishes step-by-step instructions in case an ICE agent arrives on campus. It also included phone numbers to appropriate archdiocesan personnel.
