Click play above to watch the Sept. 14 livestream of the 7:30 p.m. Chrism Mass, celebrated at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland by Archbishop William E. Lori.

At the Chrism Mass, usually celebrated on the Monday prior to Easter but delayed this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, the archbishop consecrates the Holy Chrism and blesses the other oils used in the sacramental life of the church. During the liturgy, priests also renew their priestly promises.

To follow along with the liturgy, download a worship aid here.

If your parish/pastorate has not yet ordered 2020 holy oils, or you were not able to pick them up at the Chrism Mass, please contact the Office of Divine Worship at worship@archbalt.org or call 410-547-5403 to obtain them.
